The IBC Tipper is a mechanism designed to maximise the dispensing of your IBC while avoiding waste, environmental and safety hazards.
The IBC Tipper works by tilting the IBC as its contents are used, thereby increasing pressure at the tap and allowing more liquid access to flow out. Depending on the value of the liquid, this could redeem significant losses through waste quickly, and with little fuss.
We require you to select the tilt angle for your tipper. We recommend 5 degrees as standard and 8-10 degrees for more viscous liquids. If you are unsure, please contact us.
Please Note: At 8 degrees or above it can be difficult to load and unload the tipper from the side.
A tipper may be used on its own or can be customised with a variety of options as detailed below.
IBC Tipper Options
Stand
The IBC Tipper is available with an optional stand. This is intended to hold the IBC and Tipper 40cm above the ground so a dispensing pump can be mounted below.
Castors
Another additional option is for heavy duty castors to be attached to the bottom of the Tipper unit, allowing it to be used as a trolley on which the IBC can be moved around freely.
Drum Attachment
The IBC Tipper can be modified to take a drum, for which it works just as effectively. The unit will still accept an IBC, meaning it can be used as a dual-purpose tipping unit.
IBC Tipper Skirt
A protective skirt can be fitted to safeguard the metal of the tipper from being scratched when placing an IBC on the tipper. The tipper skirt also covers the springs of the unit, in order to protect them against the outdoor elements.
150mm Legs with Fork Supports
A set of short legs can be provided that allow fork lift forks to slide under with ease. This enables the IBC to be moved around with the tipper attached - chains clip around the fork to secure the IBC during movement.
Please Note: The unit and any optional extras will be provided in stainless steel. This makes it particularly suitable for long-lasting and hygienic use in the food industry where high standards of cleanliness are essential.

There is a £6.99 (ex.VAT) delivery charge for all products from our range of absorbents and spill kits.
We offer FREE delivery If your order contains over £250 (ex.VAT) of absorbents and spill kit products. The free delivery only applies to the absorbents and spill kit products in your order.
Our standard delivery service is a 9am-5pm service via DHL couriers and a signature will be required at the delivery address.
If you place your order before 12 noon Monday-Friday it will be processed the same day.
On certain product lines, we are able to offer additional delivery services including Next Working Day AM (Before 12 noon) & Next Working Day Before 9 AM. Please call our sales team for details on 0330 042 4849.
Restricted Access At Delivery Address
We are able to arrange delivery on a suitable vehicle for locations where there is restricted access for standard delivery vehicles, for example, an articulated lorry. For locations with narrow access roads, we can organise delivery on a smaller vehicle e.g. 7.5-tonne vehicle.
If your delivery address has restricted access, please let us know before placing your order online or over the phone. If a delivery fails due to access issues that we were not informed of at the time the order was placed, you may be liable for any subsequent re-delivery charges.
